Just the News announced Thursday it is expanding its newsroom with a dozen new reporting and editing positions designed to better chronicle the changes occurring in Washington D.C., state capitals and a global economy being reshaped by the new forces of Artificial Intelligence, biotechnology and digital currencies.
“It’s hard to believe we are already five years old,” Just the News Founder and Editor in Chief John Solomon said. “And while we already reach millions of consumers a month with our news content, podcasts and TV programming, we know there are millions more yearning for trusted information in a country struck by deep political division and a world being re-imagined by AI, crypto and other economic forces.
“These new position will help us better cover the policy debates that will govern how America adapts to these challenges, the changing nature of security and warfare as evidenced by the kinetic attacks against drug boats and narco-terrorists and an economy shifting increasingly toward new commerce in the forms of crypto, gold and AI,” Solomon added.
The expansion comes as Just the News was incorporated into a new media conglomerate JTN Network as it raises new capital to acquire media, technology and entertainment assets in a bid to build a 21st century multimedia network.
“It’s an exciting time for us and our investors but everything at Just the News starts with accurate and impactful reporting, which is why our first expansion is to hire more quality journalists,” Solomon said.
